We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive information such as health details or bank details.
Our lawful basis
- Contact messages: our legitimate interest in answering questions sent to us, and your agreement when you submit the form.
- Analytics: your consent. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings button on any page.
- Server logs and reCAPTCHA: our legitimate interest in keeping the website and contact form secure and free of spam.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use these service providers, who process it on our behalf:
- IONOS, which hosts the website and stores contact form messages.
- Google, for Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA spam protection on the contact form, and the web fonts the pages load. Google's use of reCAPTCHA data is covered by its own privacy policy and terms. Google may process data outside the UK under recognised safeguards.
This guide is run by the same team as Plant Hire Finance, PlantClassifieds and Rental Desk Pro. We do not pass your contact details to those services unless you ask us to. If you use one of them directly, its own privacy policy applies.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages: up to 24 months after our last reply, then deleted.
- Analytics data: for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.
- Server logs: for the period set by our host, usually a few weeks.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk.

We will update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
